This Holy Thursday join the Sing Along Cinema crew in The Button Factory for an evening of authority defying Movieoke. It's that time of the year when the Preacher Man tells you that dancing will damn your soul. Well here at Sing Along Cinema we know better, and like Ren McCormick, 'We have the music on our side!
Sing Along Cinema's 'Footloose' it's a joyously irreverent way to kick off your Easter Bank holiday weekend. So blow the dust off that copy of the sound track you know you have, crank up 'Holding on to a hero' and practice that immortal dance move. Heel 'n' Toe, Heel 'n' Toe, Heel 'n' Toe... Now you got it.
Sing a Long Cinema combines the silliness and pure fun of a karaoke party, with the kitsch extravaganza of classic musical cinema. But most importantly the audience is the star!
Our movies are shown on the big screen with full subtitles, accompanied by a mega sound system and interactive lighting. Our host, Savage Eye cast member Declan Rooney, encourages everyone to sing along with the big numbers, giving them their cues and generally acting the maggot.
Come in character if you like, dance in the aisles - sing your heart out. Oh, and of course there's a full bar where we’ll be selling ‘Sexy Red-neck’ and ‘City Boy’ Cocktails at €5 specially for the night.
From the people who brought you “Songs of Praise - Rock + Roll Karaoke” - this is a guaranteed fun night out for you and the gang. Over 18s only.

Upcoming Shows :
The Wizard of Oz - The Pavilion, Cork April 30th
TBA - The Forum, Waterford, May 14th
