Fifteen years ago Strictly Handbag arrived in the desolate waste land that was Monday nights. The manifesto was simple “80s Music with words for your dancing pleasure.” All were welcome & there was reckless humour to proceedings brought about by the fact that everybody there knew Tuesday morning would be a write off. But then it was 1994 and everybody was broke, the country was in chaos, the only sane thing to do was go dancing...
Sound familiar....
It’s obvious to us that the time is again right for Strictly Handbag’s unique brand of Monday Night Mayhem after our 6 month hiatus. And in Think Tank we have found the perfect little club for it to return too.
This is the space we've been looking for - newly refurbished with a killer sound system and great lighting rig. It feels like a proper night club!
It's Strictly back to basics with the best of the 1980s - synth pop with a dash of ska, new wave, mod and punk.. .
